The Dutch boneless lamb shoulder is a succulent piece of meat that is cut from the front parts of the lamb. It has a deep, full flavour and contains a beautiful marbling of fat, making it perfect for slow roasting or stewing. The slow cooking makes the meat wonderfully tender and juicy.

1. Seasoning and searing
Season the meat generously with salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Brown it all around in a hot pan with butter
2. Yarn
Let it cook slowly in the oven at 150°C for about 3 hours*
*The cooking time is an indication and depends on the thickness of the piece of meat.
3. Serving
Pairs well with roasted vegetables such as carrots and parsnips. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and a rich gravy for a complete meal
