The Livar Pork Belly without rind is ideal for all kinds of preparation methods, from slow roasted in the oven to crispy fried in the pan. It is perfect for traditional dishes such as porchetta, slow-cooked BBQ pork belly, or pork belly.
1. Preparation
Marinate the pork belly for a few hours (or overnight) in a mixture of soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger for an Asian twist. Preheat the oven to 140°C
2. Yarn
Place the pork belly in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Let the meat cook slowly for 3-4 hours, until it is buttery soft. For a crispy edge, you can put the oven on the grill setting for the last 10 minutes.
